AnyDesk announces rapid scale-up: grows to over 200 employees, 100,000 customers and opens Innovation Hub in Georgia

AnyDesk grows to 200 employees, opens another 60 positions

Berlin office expands and new offices opened in USA, Mainland China, Hong Kong, and recently in Georgia, Europe

The number of customers since 2020 doubled, now stands at 100,000 clients

Stuttgart/Germany, April 7th, 2022 – AnyDesk, one of the world’s leading providers of remote desktop software, has seen major growth: the firm now has over 200 employees, with more than 60 additional positions expected to be filled soon. By the end of the year, AnyDesk is expected to have over 300 employees. 

Headquartered in Stuttgart, Germany since its founding in 2014, AnyDesk opened a branch in the US (Tampa Bay, Florida) in 2020, as well as offices in Shanghai and Hong Kong in 2021. The company is now expanding its footprint once again to Tbilisi, Georgia, where it hired 10 research and development employees at the start of April 2022. AnyDesk plans to further expand the Tbilisi office as an innovation hub over the course of the year and its CEO, Philipp Weiser, has temporarily relocated there to oversee the process. 

AnyDesk Berlin, established in 2017, is continuing to expand, with a recent move to a larger office space. Further international offices are planned, as well as the expansion of existing ones. At all locations, AnyDesk employees have the freedom to work within the “remote” or “hybrid” model, or in-office.  

“We are growing rapidly, have fully achieved our goals in 2021 and have set ourselves ambitious growth targets for 2022,” Philipp Weiser, founder, and CEO of AnyDesk, remarks. “That is why we have massively built up our locations within a year, almost doubled the number of employees and are constantly expanding our product portfolio. AnyDesk has developed a software solution that allows users secure remote access from one device to other devices – running all major operating systems, making remote work possible. This offering is in high demand due to the trend towards hybrid working, which was accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic. AnyDesk now has over 100,000 customers from more than 190 countries. In the current year, AnyDesk plans to expand the product with additional features that are especially relevant for larger companies, as well as to regionalize the offering to further improve visibility and usability in all markets.
